CIMB Bank PH inks partnership with Bayad Center driving new wave of digital banking adoption

The multi-awarded all-digital bank will be extending credit facility to the eligible Bayad Center customers who regularly pay their bills through Bayad Center’s mobile app. The credit facilities will cover both personal loans and revolving credit lines, to allow customers to manage their money on-demand, on-top of being able to save through Bayad Center app.

CIMB Bank PH reaches 2M accounts; aims to double customer base in 2020

Chief executive officer Vijay Manoharan revealed that the all-digital, mobile-first bank CIMB Bank Philippines has successfully recruited 2 million accounts to-date, with a goal to reach 4-milllion within 2020. Manoharan attributes the increasing sign-ups to collaborations with key local players that expand their digital platform banking model.

CIMB said it will continue to forge partnerships as part of its strategy to acquire more users through platform banking. “We have two or three other partners that we’ve already signed. All our partners will be digitally-savvy partners. Our partners will all be doing something digital,” Mr. Manoharan said.
