Job Description

• The Head of Build and Engineering will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software and technology solutions. He/She will provide technical leadership, set engineering standards, and ensure the successful execution of projects to meet business objectives.
•  Provide technical guidance and leadership to the engineering team. 
• Set engineering standards, best practices, and coding guidelines. 
• Oversee project planning and resource allocation to ensure project success. 
• Monitor project progress and address any issues or roadblocks. 
• Ensure software quality through rigorous testing and code reviews. 
• Implement quality assurance practices and continuous improvement initiatives. 
• Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools to enhance engineering capabilities. 
• Drive technology innovation and adoption within the team. 
• Attract, mentor, and retain top engineering talent. 
• Provide training and professional development opportunities for team members. 
• Collaborate with product managers, solution architects, and other stakeholders to deliver successful projects. 
• Communicate technical updates and progress to senior management.

Qualification

• Proven experience (10+ years) in software engineering and team leadership.
• Strong teachnical acumen and expertise in software development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills. 
• Experience with agile development practices is advantageous
