IAM Engineer

Job Description

• Develop and maintain a security identity access management framework that includes processes for onboarding, offboarding, and ongoing access management for IT assets and resources.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets and resources, including hardware, software, and data.
• Ensure that access to IT assets and resources is granted based on defined roles and responsibilities, and that access is reviewed periodically.
• Identify and mitigate security risks related to access management, such as unauthorized access or excessive privileges.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to asset management, including tracking and reporting of assets, asset disposal, and asset inventory management.
• Conduct regular audits of access management and asset management processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
• Collaborate with IT teams, business units, and vendors to implement access and asset management controls and processes.
• Provide training and guidance to IT staff and stakeholders on access and asset management processes.

Qualification

• Experience with identity and access management tools, such as SailPoint or Okta.
• Knowledge of asset tracking technologies, such as RFID or barcoding.
• Experience with security risk assessments and remediation.
• Familiarity with security frameworks, such as NIST or ISO 27001.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
