Important Update to your CIMB Prime Interest Rates

We understand that interest rates matter in growing your savings. That’s why we would like to inform you of the upcoming changes to your CIMB Prime savings and MaxSave Time Deposit interest rates.

Effective August 1, 2026, your CIMB Prime savings accounts will be updated to the prevailing base interest rates for each respective deposit product, as follows:

Savings Base Interest Rates

UpSave: 2.30% p.a.

GSave: 2.30% p.a.

LazSave: 0.75% p.a.

DragonFi Save: 2.30% p.a.

FastPlus: 0.75% p.a.*

*Please note that the FastPlus interest rate remains unchanged at 0.75% p.a.

Your CIMB Prime MaxSave Time Deposit rates will also be updated as follows:

Max Save Time Deposit Interest Rates

3 months: 3.50% p.a.

6 months: 3.50% p.a.

12 months: 3.25% p.a.

If you have an existing MaxSave Time Deposit placement, it will continue to earn its contracted interest rate until maturity. All Time Deposits opened before this date will remain valid and continue under the original terms agreed upon at the time of placement. The updated rates will apply only to new Max Save Time Deposit placements and renewals made on or after August 1, 2026
