How do I update my mobile number?

To update your mobile number, open the CIMB Bank PH app and simply follow the steps below:

STEP 1: Go to MENU
STEP 2: Select Profile
STEP 3: Tap Mobile Number
STEP 4: Enter OLD and NEW mobile number
STEP 5: Enter the OTP sent to your new number for the change to take effect.



In case you no longer have access to your mobile number and can't access the mobile app, you can send us an email with the following details:

From: Your registered CIMB email address
Email: CXSupport@cimb.com
Subject: Change of mobile number

STEP 1: Please provide the following information:

  • Full Name
  • Date of Birth with the format Date, Month, Year (e.g. 10 January 1990)
  • Your mobile number registered with CIMB:
  • Your new mobile number to be updated:

Step 2: Attach the following documents:

  • Clear photo of the ID (front and back) that you submitted when you opened your account (See list of acceptable IDs below)
  • Selfie holding your valid ID

 

To accomplish the requirements in one go, please observe the following:

1. The ID must be an actual photograph of it with clear and legible front and back sections. We will not accept a scanned copy or photocopy of your ID and photos that are blurry or too dark.

2. The Selfie must be your actual selfie photo. We will not accept a scanned photo or screen grab of yourself.

3. Please ensure that you hold your ID just below your chin so as not to cover any part of your face. Please make sure also that the ID is completely visible in the selfie. In the event that you can’t remember which ID you submitted during account opening or if that ID is no longer available, you may refer to the list of other acceptable IDs below:

  • Drivers’ License (or its variants including Conductor’s License, Student Permit, Temporary Permit)
  • Philippine Passport
  • National Professional ID
  • Unified Multipurpose ID (UMID)
  • Postal ID
  • Voter’s (COMELEC) ID
  • Social Security System (SSS)
  • Philippine Identification System (PhilSys)
  • Printed ePhilID (Digital PhilSys ID) 
  • Tax Identification Number (TIN)
  • PhilHealth ID
