Eligibility and How to Qualify​

  • Promo runs from January 1 to 31, 2025​
  • This is available to selected customers who received official invitation via SMS or EDM from CIMB PH or GCash Partner.​
  • You must maintain your total Average Daily Balance on your GSave and/or UpSave account from December 2024
  • Customer must have at least one active and unblocked GSave and/or UpSave Accounts. Other deposit accounts are not eligible.​
  • All of the additional promo interest rewards are inclusive of other interest rate campaigns. ​

Earn 6.0% p.a. interest by maintaining your Total ADB from the previous month on UpSave and GSave​

 
  • Must receive from CIMB Bank or GCash the official invitation via Short Message Service (“SMS”) OR Electronic Direct Mail (“EDM”) that contains the campaign message. This Campaign shall be limited to customers who have received said campaign message and any person who did not receive said SMS and/or EDM are not eligible.​
  • Customer must meet the conditions outlined in the communications sent to them, in accordance with the Bank's mechanics and terms.​
  • The customer must maintain or grow their Total Average Daily Balance (ADB) on their GSave and/or UpSave from December 2024 to qualify for this offer. Customers who go below their total ADB from December 2024 are not eligible for this offer.
  • The 6.0% p.a. interest rate is applicable to the Total Average Daily Balance.​
  • 6.0% p.a. interest is inclusive of regular base rate of 2.5% p.a. for UpSave and 2.6% p.a. for GSave account and other promo/s interest rate.​
  • For customers who have multiple UpSave and GSave accounts with CIMB Bank PH, the special interest reward will be computed based on the qualifying month’s Total ADB with the Bank (for UpSave and GSave only).​

Here's how you can compute for your additional interest earnings:

Sample scenario (1): ​

The customer received an official invitation from CIMB PH, confirming their eligibility for an exclusive loyalty reward offer if they maintain a total ADB greater than or equal to their total ADB for the month of December 2024. The customer’s total ADB for December was Php 75,000. The customer meets this condition by maintaining a total ADB of Php 85,000 in January 2025.​

How do I compute for my monthly interest?

To compute for the interest earned for your account:  ​
 ​
Net Interest Earned = ADB x Time Period x Interest Rate less 20% withholding tax.​

​

Average Daily Balance (ADB) = Sum of your end of day balance, divided by the number of eligible days for the month.​

Interest Rate = Interest rate applicable based on the promo you qualified for.​

Time Period = Total number of eligible days for the month, divided by 360 days.​

How will I qualify?​

To qualify, simply maintain the required Total Average Daily Balance (ADB), which is your Total ADB from the previous month, in the same month you receive the official invitation​

Who is eligible for this promo?

This is only applicable to those who received the invitation message via SMS or EDM  from CIMB PH or GCash Partner​
