Is there a cut-off time for PESONet?

Fund Transfers done via PESONet have a cut-off time of 4:00PM every business day. Transactions done after the cut-off time (including holidays and weekends) will be processed to the receiving bank on the next business day.

For example, if the fund transfer was made on a Friday after 1:00PM or on a weekend, the transaction will be reflected the following Monday. We suggest waiting until the end of day before checking the account. if it's still not reflected by then, please contact us via email, call, live chat or Raise An Issue. Make sure you have all the necessary transaction details, which may include transaction date, time, reference number and amount, for our reference.

When will the funds be credited to the receiving bank's account?

As long as fund transfers are done before 4PM, the receiving bank should be able to process and credit the account on the same day between 4:00PM to 11:00PM.

Are there any instances in which my transaction could be unsuccessful?

Crediting to receiving / beneficiary bank account may be unsuccessful due to the following reasons:

1) Invalid account (e.g.: wrong account number, closed, dormant or block account)

2) Suspicious transaction (AML reason)

3) Wrong information /details (e.g. Account Name provided is not the full and actual account name of the recipient.)

4) Unsupported currency (not PHP currency)

It is highly advised that you obtain and provide correct information to avoid any delays in the interbank fund transfer.

Will I receive my funds back if the beneficiary / recipient bank could not process my fund transfer?

The fund transfer amount, net of the service charge (may vary across banks), will be credited back to your source account as soon as the funds are returned to us by the receiving bank.

I've activated the "Discover Me" function but I can't find my CIMB contact in the in-app search list.

There could be 2 possible reasons why your CIMB Bank contact did not appear:

1) Your CIMB Bank contact did not activate the "Discover Me" function on their app.

2) Your in-app contact list is not refreshed. Please tap the refresh button on the screen.

What if my CIMB contact has more than one CIMB account, which account will the "Discover Me" function use for fund transfer?

If you or your recipient account have/has more than one (1) CIMB Bank account, the accounts in the "Discover Me" function will follow the hierarchy below:

1) Fast Account

2) Fast Plus Account

3) UpSave Account

For example, if your CIMB Bank contact has both a Fast Plus and UpSave Account, the "Discover Me" function will display the Fast Plus Account when used in Fund Transfer.

However, if the recipient account has no Fast/Fast Plus Account and more than one (1) UpSave Account, the "Discover Me" function will use the first UpSave Account opened by the customer.

If you've received this error message, it means the amount you're trying to transact is higher than the allowable limit per transaction.

I received an error message that says "Amount has exceeded the daily account transfer limit".

My fund transfer failed and I received an error message that says "Amount is less than minimum required."

If you've received this error message, it means the amount that you're trying to transfer is below the minimum required amount. Kindly note the following:

1) For transfers to your own CIMB Bank account and to other CIMB Bank accounts, the minimum required amount is any value above PHP0.00.

2) For transfers to other banks, the minimum required amount must be at least PHP100.00 in a single transaction.

My scheduled fund transfer did not go through.

If you've encountered this issue, please check the following:

2) The recipient account is still active.

3) Your account is not closed. If you have closed your account, all scheduled transfers will automatically be cancelled.
